Rafa Benitez has told Jacob Murphy that he will have a second chance at Newcastle.
The former U21 pre-wiper has been sent out to West Brom on loan, but there is no bargain for him to leave permanently.
Benitez has told Murphy to show his "clear potential" by having an impact on the promotion race of the Championship – and showing that he can be a long-term asset on Tyneside.
Murphy's second signs for Benitez for Newcastle, has landed for £ 12m in the summer of 2017.
The young man has been blown down the pecking order of attacking large men when he reached the recording of Miguel Almiron's signs.
Benitez said: "I said before he had been training very well. He has been very professional.
"He's a really nice boy. When he played he had some good games. The goal against Man City was a very good goal.
"There were some games where it was not performing so well. Then, you have players in their job that did well or differently.
"I can see its potential. It's very clear. It's obvious.
"He must play every single game. I think he will have this opportunity. He has the potential.
"If it's playing it will be a better player at the end of the season. It must reach this potential."
Almiron traveled to Paris on Sunday to arrange a work permit.
The £ 21m man is expected to join his team for training on Wednesday, and could do his wounds against the next Monday.
