Instagram is only in time for the holiday season (west), now expanding its shopping feature on the stage. Earlier this year, Instagram added the shopping feature to feed, which was then expanded to Stories by June this year. And now, Instagram has published Three new product updates to feature.
Instagram has said that users will be able to shop from videos that they see feed them soon, saving items to a specific "shopping collection" in their rescue jobs, and also shopping from business profiles easier.
Basically, so far, Instagram allowed Business profiles to tag their products only into images on Feed and Stories, but with the new update, they can do so with video posts in their Feed too.
Then, the new shopping collection area, which you can get in the Retained Jobs tab. The section, as we can see in Instagrams post blog, The looks like an online store, unless it lists the items that you really like and you're keeping. Shopping bookmark will also add your favorite look to this section.
In addition, Instagram will also allow users to click on Jobs or videos on Stories or Food, which will give them more information about the product.
Finally, some changes are made to business profiles, so that all of their shop posts will be arranged under a new "shop" button. As such, consumers can handle a business page more like a web-based shop where everything is available to buy.
Interestingly, alongside Instagram's presence for shopping, Snapchat is also actively shopping, with shop advertisements in Stories and a partnership with Amazon.
