Venezuela registers 309 infections and accrues 101,524 cases

Venezuela registered 309 covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total accumulated causes of this disease to 101,524, reported on Friday 27-N Minister of Communications and Information Freddy Ñáñez.

“Today, November 27, 257 days (since the start) of the pandemic in Venezuela, we report that the country has registered 309 new infections in the last 24 hours, 289 community transfusions and 20 cases import, “the minister said in a message on Twitter.

The Nicolás Maduro Government registers as “communal” infections of those occurring in the national territory, and as “imported” cases of persons coming from other countries.

He explained that the state with the most “community” cases, on the day, was Táchira (west) with 55, followed by Yaracuy (middle) with 53, while the 20 “imported” were from Colombia.

About Zulia was reported to have registered another 16 cases of coronavirus this Friday.

He also reported on the deaths of four other people, two women aged 56 and 60 and two men aged 76 and 80. Venezuela has reported 888 deaths since March.

“To date 101,524 cases have been confirmed, 96,402 people have been recovered, representing 95% of infections. We have 4,234 active cases, 4,208 are treated in the public health system and 26 in private clinics, “the Minister added.
