They reported 4 deaths this Friday 4-D. In Venezuela, 913 people have died from complications arising from the coronavirus, according to the official balance.
This Friday 4-D, 329 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in the national territory: 284 community cases and 45 “imported”.
The figure, provided on twitter, by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, brings the accumulated country to 103,877 cases.
On the day, the 264 since the start of the pandemic in Venezuela, the Capital District was the entity that registered the highest number of new community cases (113), with active infections in 15 parishes; followed by Miranda (60) and Barinas (38).
Zulia, who fell to fifth place on the list, added 16 cases in the last 24 hours.
With regard to the 45 “imported” infections, the Government noted that 27 came from the Dominican Republic; 17 from Panama and one from Ecuador.
Rodríguez also reported on 4 deaths: a 58-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man from Lara; a 76-year-old man from Táchira; and a 57-year-old man from Zulia province.
To date, deaths from coronavirus in the country are 913.
