School and work activities were suspended on Tuesday across the country due to the blackout that took place on Monday. The information was published by Jorge Rodríguez, who noted that the measure will be for 24 hours.

"We have used all the effort to restore, as soon as possible, the electrical service throughout the national territory," the official said.

Rodriguez described the lack of service in the country as "electric war."

The Metro de Caracas system does not provide a commercial service on Tuesday. Stopping the transport service is due to the lack of a registered electrical service since Monday in Caracas and affecting at least 14 states in the country.

At 1:30 pm on Monday there were blackouts in several areas of Caracas and in several countries in the country, after about three hours, the service was restored. However, at 9:50 p.m. there was another blackout that kept almost all the country without electricity.

This is the second national blackout that has been registered in the country in less than a month. The first happened on March 7, which lasted more than 100 hours, in Caracas and in 23 Venezuela countries. During the first failure, school activities were disrupted for a week.
