US penalties against PDVSA have accelerated the collapse of oil production and caused a fall in the global energy market.

Ryan Fitzmaurice, a energy strategist at Rabobank, said: "The sanctions already have a paralleliste effect on oil supplies."

The refineries, led by Citgo, Chevron and Valero, are heavy crude mixing with lighter chairs, found in the US oil fields, to produce gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, the portal said.

On its behalf, Venezuela is required to find new customers and new ways of heavy crude dilution to prepare for export.
