Oil production in Argentina is already close to 500,000 barrels per day

The Argentine Energy Secretariat said that oil production in October was 498,000 barrels a day, which represents a 2% increase over the same period of previous year.
On its behalf, the production of unconventional shape shapes (shale or shaft) was 66,000 barrels a day, a 3% growth compared to the previous month and 70% of season year on year. The total amount of 15% crude and tired crude oil production year on year increased.
On the other hand, the total natural gas production reached 132 million cubic meters a day, 1.2% more than the previous month and 7% more season year on year.
The total unconventional gas production (chale and tight) grew by 38% year on year in October.
Shale gas production was 25 million cubic meters a day, an increase of 11% compared to the previous month and 243% between October 2017 and the same month of 2018.
The Energy Secretariat emphasized that the road continues to be strengthened to rely less and less on hydrocarbon imports. The agency estimates that the amount of oil reserves that are deducted in the Vaca Muerta deposit in 25 years is 10,434 million barrels.
