Juan Guaidó, Venezuela's interim president, said, because of what happened on Saturday, he will ask the international community to leave options open to restore democracy.

"Today's events make me make a decision: to introduce the international community in a formal way that we have to have all the options available to secure the liberation of this country that will fight and will continue to fight, "said Guaidó on Twitter.

The president reiterated with care that he would meet on Monday in Bogota with the allies of the international community to define the next steps to take to restore democracy.

"To develop our route, I will meet on Monday with allies of the international community, and we will continue to order future actions in the country. Internal and external pressures are essential for the release, "he said.
