Rafael Guzmán, Deputy National Assembly (AN) for the Miranda state and chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, said Thursday, despite the latest wage increase set by the national government, Venezuelan purchasing power has not varied since August.
"We are not desirable to tell Venezuelans that their money is worth less every day," said Guzmán in an interview with Globovisión. He added that, according to the Finance Committee, there was an increase of 148.2% in inflation in October,
Guzmán explained that there was a price departure in September. This is attributed to the fact that most Venezuelans have given the best to buy some products because of the high prices.
