Venezuelan authorities on Sunday urged the prisoners in Náira to "defend" Nicolás Maduro.
"Today, the majority of those detained are designated men and are ready to defend the country and the revolution," they can be heard in a video broadcast on social networks during activity with prisoners.
In the recording, they also thank Iris Varela for his "courage and effort" in the "defense" of the revolution.
"Fellow, you are very grateful for your courage, for your effort and to be faithful to Comandante Chávez, because in these moments that the country calls us, we must be united to protect what has cost so much with Venezuelan people, "he said.
