Four sentenced to 30 years in the case of Robert Serra; 7 in question will pay 9 years

The 6th Criminal Court of Criminal Circuit Criminal Court of Caracas sentenced a group of people to prison terms ranging from 30 years to 9 years and six months in prison, for the murder of the then deputy of the Assembly. Nacional, Robert José Serra Aguirre, as well as María Herrera Sequera.

Notes the statement that Edwin José Torres Camacho and Carlos Enrique García Martínez were sentenced to 30 years in prison for the commission of aggravated homicide offenses, envisaged and punishable in article 407 procedural 2 ° in accordance with the generic aggravating factor established in article 77 procedural 1 °, 5 °, 8 ° and 12, the entire Penal Code; to Serra’s disadvantage; also for aggravated robbery, characterized and sanctioned in article 458 in accordance with the generic aggravating factor referred to.

They were also convicted of committing the homicide offenses committed with treason, for vain motives, in committing an aggravated robbery, which was foreseen and punished in article 407 ordinal 2 ° in accordance with the generic aggravating factor established in article 77 orderly. 1, 5, 8 and 12, the entire Penal Code; to the detriment of María Herrera Sequera. In the meantime, Jaime Padilla and Leiver Padilla Mendoza were also sentenced to 30 years prison to the commission as joint perpetrators of the above offenses.

For its part, Erick Ricardo Romero Arteaga, Raidel Jesús Espinoza Flores, Wuadid Pacheco Pacheco and Danny Enrique Salinas Quevedo, as Yumelis Elena Meregote Pereira and Neira Palomino Anaya, convicted and sentenced to nine years and six months in prison for committing the crimes of an unwanted assistant in the crime of aggravated robbery, as well as society for committing a crime.
