12 million toys reach boys and girls of the Homeland

Popular Power Minister for National Trade, Eneida Laya, received a shipment of 12 million toys Thursday at Puerto Cabello Warehouse, located in Carabobo province.

He reported that the toys will be distributed through the Governors in conjunction with the Community Councils and the Local Delivery and Production Committee (CLAP).

“We comply with the direction of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to guarantee a happy Christmas for boys and girls and for the Homeland. We accept the toys that will be delivered street by street and house by house, ”he said.

He explained that the tribe includes educational and musical toys, for infants, and, in addition, for older ones, playful toys, bikes and skateboards, refer to MinComercio’s press release.

The portfolio head of the National Trade assured that this social protection mechanism, the default of the Bolivian Government, has not stopped despite the imperial and pandemic Covid-19 blockade.

“Many were betting that it wouldn’t happen because of the pandemic, on the contrary, the reality is that these toys are and have already been distributed to 12 provinces, including Anzoátegui, Amazonas, Amacuro Delta, Táchira, Bolívar , Zulia, Trujillo, Guárico, Cojedes and Monagas, ”he said.

The minister said the toys will be distributed from December 16 nationwide.

“We do not have 13 provinces to complete 100% of the regions,” the Minister said while acknowledging the efforts of other state entities that collectively made it possible to receive the cargo.

“We are organized and that is what has allowed us to fight the war and the siege. The President will continue to strengthen the defense mechanisms, all we need is for us to lift this criminal siege, Venezuelans are growing in the face of difficulties, ”he explained.

Minister Laya toured the Warehouse to observe the process of receiving the containers, validating the security seals, recognizing the goods, and, later, distributing them to State security agencies in a civic-military-police union .
