Media Inc. in a statement received from Mediaite. “The fact of the matter is, Michael Sanchez who gave up the National Candidate on 10 September 2018, and over the four months he provided all the materials for our inquiry. His continued efforts to discuss and represent our reports incorrectly, and his role in it, have given way to any source confidentiality. No other third parties were involved at all. ”
Bezos funded his own investigation into the issue after private text messaging between himself and Lauren Sanchez, the LA news anchor, was announced as the National Enquirer, revealing his relationship and encouraging his divorce. Lauren Sanchez's brother, Michael Sanchez, has admitted that he has been involved in the inquiry of the Enquirer to the relationship, but he claims that he has only helped to protect his sister and Bezos.
