John Oliver says that the Mueller report's findings have been sitting in a plain view ’

There was a reduction of a week from “Last Week Tonight” during the completion of the Robert Mueller report in Russia and so comedian John Oliver had to wait until Sunday night to voice his opinion on the completion of the Mueller investigation.

Oliver started his show on Sunday with a clip of a confirmation hearing for David Bernhardt, President of Trump acting as an interior secretary and the president's nominee to undertake the job full time. During the Bernhardt hearing, members of the congregation wore "swing creature" masks, which were supposed to show the "support" of the creatures to the former oil and gas lobbyist.

Members of the audience, a trio of Greenpeace campaigners, protested the Bernhardt nomination, at the hearing full of C-Span cameras for more than an hour.

Oliver was amazed at the sight of the swamp creatures and went on to make the point about the latest Mueller investigation reports and the report itself.

The special counselor charged dozens of people during his investigation, including 12 Russian intelligence officers, the president's former campaign manager, his national security adviser, and his personal solicitor.

One of the marshy creatures at the hearing confirmed David Bernhardt last week.

Under oath former lawyer Michael Cohen, Trump, accused the president of a pattern of laying and breaking laws relating to not only the 2016 election but rushed cash payments to Stormy Daniels adult film actress.

All this, Oliver, would be overwhelming in one sitting, but because news stories about Mueller's findings have come out in short bursts, the public is having trouble processing the investigation.

“This scandal has been looking clear for so long, we've given the best to my attention,” said Oliver. “Like a woman in a fish mask that is sweating more and more. And as with her, the strangest thing about this situation is that somehow, it's not strange, this ridiculous situation begins to feel. "

In the second part of his show on Sunday, Oliver addressed the “Wrestlemania” event next week and what he called World Wrestling Entertainment's “moral underground” employment practices and to CEO Billionaire Vince McMahon.
