We all know that sperm plays an essential role in making a baby – a 101 biology.
But you did not know it only fertilize eggs, there is a whole list of things that can be done.
On average, man produces between 80 and 300 million sperm every time it is ejacula.
However, more than 60 per cent of fertility issues are associated with poor sperm, according to the fertility experts of Dr Andrew Orr – so it is important to keep healthy swimmers.
Apart from the reductions with fertility issues, many people do not know about sperm.
Here, Dr Orr tells us 8 facts that you may not have known …
1. It helps to prevent depression in women
Research has shown that women with sex without safety – I do not recommend this unless in a healthy relationship – or orally less likely to have depression, said Dr Orr at BellyBelly.
"They have healthy mood and immune systems, and they are generally happier," he added.
Sperm helps to increase oxycocin, prostaglandin and serotonin in women, according to the study of the State University of New York.
2. Sperm makes you more fruitful
You probably think "very healthy, of course more sperm makes you more fruitful", but that's not what this is.
"Semen is not the vehicle for only carrying sperm, it also plays a vital role in ovating stimulation, according to a recent study," said Dr Orr.
"Scientists have found that the protein in the sexual fluid is a feminine feminine sign.
"This triggers the release of other hormones that indicate the ovaries to release an egg."
3. You can cook with it
Yes, you're reading it right … cook with it.
Dr Orr has genuine cooking books that use semen in their recipes.
"For example, Natural Harvest – A Semen-Based Recipe Collection, where semen is described as not only nutritious, but also a great texture and incredible cooking properties. Like fine wine and cheese , semen flavor is complex and dynamic, "he added.
We'll let you decide if you want to try that.
4. Helps help in the womb's implantation
Once sperm has fertilized an egg, it just does not give it the best to do its work there.
"Studies have shown that sperm really helps embryo implant, through a number of chemicals and hormones," explained Dr Orr.
"However, many people are told not to have sex after IVF.
"I can tell you that you need to have more sex; ignore the BS and listen to the otherwise tested research."
5. It's good to your skin
Sperm can help keep your skin look healthy, but not everyone wants to blow it on their faces.
"Sperm includes minerals such as zinc, vitamin C, prostaglandins, collagen, vitamins, amino acids and many other health items for the benefit of the skin," said Dr Orr.
"Bioforskning, a Norwegian company, has synthesized the compounds into face cream.
"According to Bioforskning, the cream, Spermine, is 30 times more effective than vitamin E and can delay the aging process by 20 percent.
6. Its storage does not make it better quality
After saving yourself so that your sperm is best when you're trying to get a baby – I'm sorry guys, it does not work like that.
Research has shown that regular ejaculation improves sperm quality and seminal fluid transport, Dr Orr said.
Regular ejaculation also helps keep the prostate healthy.

7. Sperm does not last for days outside the body
Have you ever heard someone say that a sperm can live in the vagina for two days after sex? They were wrong.
"After a woman's death, most 300-500 million sperm that go away have died within an hour, and only about 5-10 single sperm are in fact survives the trip to the tubes, where more than half of those die, "Dr Orr said.
"Sperm is killed by acids, or by the immune system of the woman; they die in the tubes, they die or lose in the gut, and so on.
"I just survive the survival of the rash to pregnancy. Sperm could last for several days – even up to 5 – but the chance of this happens very well."
