Wayne Rooney raises down on the departure of Manchester United
Wayne Rooney has admitted that this is the right time to leave Manchester United when he returned to Everton during the summer of 2017.
The front was a club club priority and raised the Europa League trophy to complete its full set of medals in United in its final season at Old Trafford.
He ended up for a 13-year career in United, after signing for Everton for £ 24 million at the age of 18 in 2004.
A Rooney, now playing for the MLS DC United side and will make her final appearance in England against the USA on Thursday, said he had left United with sweet memories.
"Of course, you miss it," said the 33-year-old manutd.com.
"This was the highlight of my career, playing for Man United and I was there for so long. But here's the right time."
