People with long-term health conditions have been warned to protect themselves from flu this year.
In 2017, around half of those who were eligible for NHS flu vaccine were lost free of charge in Wales, and Public Health Wales has warned that some health conditions are more at risk.
They include diabetes, heart disease, liver and kidneys.
Flu is spread through foods, which are sprayed into the air when a person has been infected cough or tissue.
Direct contact with contaminated hands or surfaces can also spread infection.
Chief Nursing Officer for Wales, Jean White, said: "There is protection, and an annual flu vaccine is the best way to prevent yourself from taking flu, which can make your condition worse or it can lead to other dangerous complications.
"Do not take any risk – make sure you get your vaccine this year."
