The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) has confirmed the registration of Lynx Arab in Jebel Hafeet National Park in Al Ain earlier this month.
Arab Tissue is a medium-sized, medium-sized species with sandy color and long black ears. I've been last seen in Emirate Abu Dhabi in 1984.
The Lynx Arabic images were captured through a special surveillance camera in the network operated by the Authority, which contains more than 45 cameras that work around the clock and automatically capture images when any body goes through them. This is part of the Commission's long-term program to study and monitor protected areas and sensitive habitats throughout the emirate. .
Although Lynx is known to be an active animal at night, the body has been able to have day and night pictures of men called a bird hunter, cruelty and small mammals under the sun during the cold season and can live for a long time without drinking water.
"The conservation of biodiversity and conservation of protected areas in the emirate is a key priority for EAD," said Dr Sheikha Salem Al Dhaheri, general secretary at EAD. "Re-discovering Arabic lynx in Abu Dhabi emphasizes not only the importance of retaining essential habitats in Abu Dhabi. The emirate is without the importance of advanced equipment and research that we use to learn more about our environment and all of us; to components. We will continue our efforts to protect and monitor local wildlife and ecosystems, which will help us protect the environment for generations and future and invite the public to join us in this effort.
Although Arabic lynx has spread widely throughout the region, usually in mountainous areas, its presence in the Arabian Peninsula has become increasingly scarce due to the practices of illegal fishing and habitat destruction. As there were no previous records of this species in the recent past, its abolition has declared in wild areas through the Red List of Major Species in Abu Dhabi. The Commission will continue to monitor this development in order to determine the density of Arabic lynx numbers and gather more information on its scope and distribution.
