The Ministry of Education has launched a new standard package for the licensing of higher education institutions and the adoption of their programs to deliver state instructions to ensure the quality of education to the latest international standards and to enhance the international reputation of higher education institutions. the United Arab Emirates.

The new licensing and accreditation standards are based on the 11 academic and administrative aspects of higher education institutions, including: governance and management, quality assurance, scientific and research activities, students, faculty, educational facilities, health, safety and security. environment, legal compliance and public disclosure, physical and educational feasibility of educational establishments, as well as community service and integrity.

The new standards have been developed to include the licensing of all types of higher education institutions and the adoption of their programs, including public universities – federal and local universities, private universities and specialist universities such as the police and military, international universities and free domain universities.
