Samsung Samsung phone maker Samsung revealed a smartphone prototype that opens as a book at a development conference in San Francisco a few days ago. However, analysts were expected to introduce a very simple smartphone, but it would only be expected to be the technology that was based on it.
At the front of the prototype presented by Samsung over 5000 software developers and partner companies, a relatively small screen with a cross line of 11.6 centimeters can be found, while the main exhibition in the developing state measures 18.5 centimeters.
In the folding condition, the device can be used as a normal smartphone. When the user opens, the application that is used then moves to a much larger screen called Infinity Flex by Samsung. Of course, it is possible to display much more information and content on this screen than at a smaller one. Not only is this useful for pictures, videos and games, but for example. also for news apps that can show much more messages.
Even better: as the Samsun messages say, up to three applications can be used at the same time on a spreading device, without it becoming unclear. For more comfortable use, a new design of the One UI interface should be provided. In addition, Google has announced that the future operating system version will also support folding phones.
How to see the smartphone is not yet known. At the development conference, Samsung introduced the prototype so that it was not possible to see almost anything other than the screen. Also, it's not known when the new smartphone should come to the market.
Starting the sales should not be very far. Samsung is planning to launch "the next few months" with the mass production of the Flex Infinity. Therefore, analysts expect the first Samsungov free mobile phone to expect in 2019.
As next generation Infinity Flex is next generation, Samsung has invited everyone who is present at the development conference to take part. If their applications are not appropriate, the foldable phone will also be a blank device with no real content.
