The European Commission has nominated the Sygic solution for the Best Innovation Award in the 2018 development. The Intellectual Cooperative Steering algorithm uses the IT4Innovations computer high-power power to calculate the best possible and individual distribution of cars in the city, saving up to 30 percent of time in everyday hits.

"Our algorithm is a living organism. It can co-ordinate tens of thousands of cars in real time according to the current situation on the road," said project leader, Radim Cmar of Sygic. "Includes all scheduled and unexpected events on the path, such as closes, accidents, or inadequate ability on the path" dodal.ä
The algorithm was created within the Antarex project framework, launched with the help of the European Union. Thanks to this, Sygic could create a revolutionary product base that has the potential to change traffic in cities around the world.
"We are currently talking to a number of cities about using our answer tests," Cmar joined. He believes he has the potential to improve the quality of life in cities. "We can do this by reducing the time needed for transport and emissions, " he explained.
The base for smart cities
Sygic is one of the biggest supporters of the European scheme to build 300 intelligent cities by the end of 2019. Thanks to the unique algorithms that are developed in coherence with IT4Innovations, Sygic can provide solutions for multiple challenges in Europe to the world.
The company is an organizational member of the Smart City project, which helps Slovakia integrate intelligent solutions.
The Radar Innovation is the European Commission initiative to identify projects funded by the European Union with the greatest potential. About 20 finalists vote to the public.
