Slovakia has more than 26 billion in rents, the number continues to grow economy

The number of housing loans reached at the end of September 26.5 billion euros. The number of loans year-on-year increased by almost € 2.5 billion, rising from month to month by € 161 million. Here is the current data of the Slovakia National Bank (NBS).

Construction savings loans amounted to EUR 2.38 billion at the end of the nine months, with construction and inter-credit loans. Since the beginning of the year, the Slovak regulator has modified the reporting of loan data.

The reason is the legislative change of mortgage banking and subsequent changes in reports since the beginning of this year. Therefore, there are no new times available for subcategories of housing loans.

In terms of the proportion of individual banks of housing loans, the largest share of Slovenská sporiteľňa was 27.73 per cent. Followed by VUB with a 20.38 percent share and third place with Tatra banka with a 14.3 percent share.

For the construction of savings loans, the largest building savings bank was the largest contributor. It represented 82.75 per cent. It was followed by the remaining companies operating in Slovakia, the Wüstenrot Building Savings Bank and the ČSOB Construction Savings Bank.
