The Kia and Hyundai models sold in Europe will be connected to the Internet via the Vodafone networks



Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors have established a Vodafone mobile operator's partnership to provide car brands for European car brand customers.

Hyundai and Kia will use the IoT Vodafone network to run their own service across Europe, enabling customers to benefit from the latest telematic technologies.

The new disclosure system will be launched on some Hyundai and Kia models in Europe, starting in 2019.

The system is based on the connectivity offered by Vodafone technologies and networks to make life easier for car owners. Services will include traffic information, parking and siting services, car diagnostics and voice control. The system works alongside Android and Apple CarPlay Android systems to provide wireless connectivity for smartphones and access to favorite files and users.
