DINAS ILOILO – The Police Divisional Office at West Visayas (PRO-6) has ordered a detailed investigation to kill a retired police, and allegedly having links with the lord of drugs killed.

Chief Inspector John Bolalacao, director of PRO-6, referred to researchers to identify and arrest immediately those who participated in the Rolando Alag SPO2 assault on November 20.

Superintendent. Joem Malong, PRO-6 spokeswoman, said that Police Force 1 crews looked into the killer, adding that pieces of CCTV cameras would be used at the investigation.

One of two men opened a fire motorcycle at Alag last Tuesday in Barangay Villa Anita, here.

Malong confirmed that Alag was on the Duterte President's drug list as intelligence reports claimed that the retired policeman provided security to large drug syndication.

"There is a high level of target 2 value identified as the Odicta Drugs Group guardian," said Malong to the reporters here.

Alag was the second person associated with the alleged lord of drugs, lord Melvin Odicta, killed in a two month period.

Lawyer Edeljulio Romero, lawyer of the Odictas, was shot dead in the City of Roxas, Capiz, on September 28, 2018.

Odicta, the alleged leader of the Odicta Drug Group that used to operate in Western Visayas, was killed with the Meriam wife at the Caticlan Wharf Port in August 2016. The sewer never knew it.

Alag joined the police service on August 6, 1982. He was assigned to the Iloilo Police Office until he had a discretionary retirement on January 31, 2009. / cbb
