In Mexico, 85 percent of lung cancer cases are diagnosed in advanced stages, although treatments to identify this neoplas, the leading cause of death in the world, said. José Manuel Mier Odriozola, member of the Institute of Pre-Multiplicated Thoractic (ICTMI) operations.

"The vast majority of patients diagnosed with lung cancer are diagnosed at late stages, that is, when they will no longer have a curative therapeutic option"he warned.
