Tuberculosis in Leiden is not an exception: Thirty people get the disease every year & 39;

In Leiden and the environment, thirty-two people have tuberculosis each year, some of which are infectious. That says a spokesman for GGD Hollands Midden. March was published that a student from Rijnland MBO had been infected with illness. The student would have an infectious, open form of TB.

In Holland, 800 people per year get tuberculosis, says the spokesman of the GGD Hollands Midden. About a third of these have the infectious form. So the disease occurs everywhere in the Netherlands with 1 out of 17,000 people.

Tuberculosis symptoms are general complaints that can also occur in many other syndromes. As a result, the disease is often difficult to identify. The most common symptoms in the early stages of tuberculosis are night sweat, tiredness, fever, losing anxiety and losing weight. People with pulmonary tuberculosis usually have cough for longer periods (longer than three weeks) and sometimes some cough (bloody mucus).

Do not know how to go with the pupil

The school does not want to say anything about the student's privacy at the Bètaplein setting. It is also not known to anyone who is a boy or a girl and in which class the student is sitting.
