After launching in accordance with King Mohammed VI instructions, this action will take place between November 15 and March 30, with the objective of ensuring the continuity of health services in these regions, in accordance with the direction of the "Health 2025 ", especially its related section. strengthening primary healthcare facilities and the network of medical-medical facilities and the development of mobile health in rural areas.

Speaking at a Rabat ceremony on this occasion, the Health Minister Anas Doukkali introduced the measures taken by his department in this context, emphasizing that this operation targeted 28 provinces in 7 regions, with Aim of guaranteeing better care for people living in remote areas, through local health services and strengthening health services, prevention and basic awareness provided in health centers.

The aim of this deed is also to intensify the activities of mobile medical units at the meeting points of the residents identified in these regions and to guarantee the attention of the cases detected, through the specialist medical caravans and & # 39; The reference hospitals identified in the measure. to ensure that emergency cases are handled, the minister noted.

In order to carry out this operation, measures have been taken to ensure that human resources, equipment and transportation facilities are available in the 360 ​​health centers being relocated to the areas in question for receiving and patient care. , with the aim of performing 4,248 field visits by mobile medical units, he explained.

Similarly, he said, 163 specialist medical caravans will be arranged, as well as establishing a co-ordination system between the mobile medical units, the provincial emergency system and these caravans, with the possibility of using helicopter transport when needed.

It will also go on to identify the referral health organizations, establish a targeted referral and referral system in the provinces, stimulate a mobile hospital and establish coordination mechanisms with partners in the health centers concerned, Doukkali reported.

He ensured, in order to achieve the expected objectives, that the Ministry will stimulate 2,478 health professionals of medical and administrative equipment, as well as bio-medical equipment, ultrasound, mobile analysis of medical laboratories, chairs dental and equipment for measuring visual disturbance. Transport routes are supported by mobile medical units and ambulances, as well as the option of transporting a helicopter when necessary.

And concluding that the Ministry has allocated an outstanding 5 million DH budget for medicines and medical equipment and 800,000 DH to meet the fuel needs and maintenance of mobile units.

This operation will target the provinces of Chefchaouen, Larache, Ouazzane and Al Hoceima (Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima), Figuig, Taourirte, Driouech, Oujda-Angad, Jerrada a Guercif (Oriental), Beni Mellal, Azilal a Khénifra (Béni Mellal -Khenifra), Midelt, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Zagora and Errachidia (Daraâ-Tafilalet), Boulmane, Sefrou, Ifrane, Taounate (Fez-Meknes), Taroudante, Chtouka Ait Baha a Tata (Souss-Massa) and Al-Haouz , Chichaoua (Marrakech-Safi).
