Contrary to AMLO Peace and Security Plan, The Claudia Sheinbaum, the elected head of the CDMX, has decided that the military will not operate security in the capital, revealed Jesús Orta Martínez, the head of the Public Security Secretary of the next capital, in an interview with Javier Hazard for The Hard Note.
"The elected head (Claudia Sheinbaum) was very direct about him … the armed forces will not be present in the police and city operation, that is, the Secretary of Public Protection leaves that task, ultimately, Citizens' Security secretariat, and only in cases of special operations, which have to engage in federal jurisdiction crimes, will interfere with those national forces ", have notified in the program.
He added that he and Sheinbaum had already met Alfonso Durazo, the head of the virtual Secretariat for Security and Citizen Protection, to inform him and establish the guidelines for co-ordinating security between the Federation and Mexico City.
He noted that point 8 of the plan introduced by AMLO is what refers to the presence of military and equestrian police in security operations and in that aspect the next government of Sheinbaum is different.
"It will include (the plan) elsewhere, the other subjects are in perfect sync," he said.
