Bursa Malaysia conflicts for senior trading during the afternoon

KUALA LUMPUR: The resumption of Bursa Malaysia to trade higher in the middle of the afternoon today, which was raised by buying an interest in intense pressure led by Maybank and Petronas Gas.

Maibank, who contributed 1.19 points to the earnings of the composite index, gave six without RM9.46 while Petronas Nodd, 0.85 points, added 24 percent to RM18.94.

At 3.00pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) benchmark was 2.85 points higher at 1,698.22 on Wednesday, 1,695.37.

The index is easier 0.78 points easier at 1,694.59 today.

However, the Market's feeling was still negative with losers wounded 424 to 272, with 362 counters unchanged, 849 unfriedly and 31 others stopped.

The volume was 1.14 billion units sold at RM707.63 billion.

Amongst heavy pressures, TNB added two percent to RM14.82, Public Public lost four to RM24.78, Petronas Chemicals spread two percent to RM9.23 while CIMB and Hong Leong Bank were always RM5.66 and RM20.58 in that order.

From actives, Sapura Energy was flat 37.5 percent, TATT won a Senate Giap to 24.5 percent and Berjaya Land increased 5.5 to 25 percent.

The Emas FBM Index increased 2.10 points to 11,818.72, the FBMT Index increased to 100,000 points to 11,660.46, the FBM 70 seats 55.23 pointed to 13,968.06, the FBM Ace Index was 9.88 points easier at 4,990.05 while the Emas Shariah FBM Index had dropped 1.69 points to 11,881.96.

In Sector-wise, the Finance Index was 21.64 points better at 17,326.95, the Index of Products and Industrial Services ranged down 0.03 points to 173.04 and the Plant Index was 11.21 points weaker at 7,180.77.
