Prayer procession to the grave of St Rafka and my God's feast on occasion of independence

The Brotherhood in Batroun Society celebrated the Independence Day with a prayer procession organized by the St Joseph's Garbata Monarch, where the St Rafqa tomb was held, following the annual practice.

The ceremony was also held at the monastery church celebrated by George Tannous, and attended by the priests of Maroun Farah and Tony Nahra, in the presence of the brothers in the region and a crowd of believers and visitors.

After reporting the holy gospel, Tannous gave a preaching about the meaning of independence, calling for a prayer "so that peace exists in Lebanon, and that his people enjoy stability and live in peace."
