Asmar's arrest in prison is against the law

Media commentator, Joe Maalouf, said in a tweet on his account via Twitter that his position on Bishara al-Asmar and what he had to do was well known, but his arrest in prison was illegal t and insults Christian religious references directly.

Maalouf said in this context, "The man came to an end professionally and his arrest will not serve anyone but he reinforces the concept of discretion and theization."

"I'll never respect the man, but respect the law … and our thoughts!"

My point of view is from Bishara Asmar and what he did, but his arrest in jail is against the law and is directly insulting to Christian religious references. The man came to an end professionally and his arrest would not serve anyone but reinforce the concept of discretion and transcendence. I will not respect the man but definitely respect the law … and our thoughts!

The Acting General Prosecutor General Imad Qablan, head of the General Trade Union Bishara Al-Asmar referred to the Public Prosecution Office in Beirut for legal reasons.

The appellate public prosecution claimed that Asmar was guilty of defamation, defamation and defamation of religious rituals and referred to the first investigating judge in Beirut, Ghassan Awaidat, for the legal action against him.

In turn, the Judge Uweidat referred the file with the prisoner to the investigating judge in Beirut, Georges Rizk, to complete the investigation and conduct the case.

Asmar introduced yesterday to resign from the General Trade Union presidency, and was commended.
