In the final F-2 leg of the season, Indian Jehan Daruvala earned the victory, while Schumacher lost nearly 29 seconds and took 18th place.
Second was Juki Cunoda from Japan, while Den Tiktums won third place.
Sunday’s result did not prevent the young German from retaining the previous advantage in the overall standings. He won by 215 points, while his nearest follower, Kelam Ailot, of the United Kingdom, lost 14 points. Cunoda had one point less.
On Wednesday, the Schumacher junior signed a contract with the “Haas” F-1 team, so after a break of several years, the well-known motorsport surname will be heard again in the series.
Schumacher won this season in two of the 12 stages. That was his second season in the F-2 series.
