President Trump often employs a positive power of mind when it comes to his own shortcomings, choosing to promote the victory rather than a wall or search for lessons in the losses. And so with his claim of a "very close to complete" victory at the March election, although Democrats take control of the House.
When he beat his raffle battle, especially during the two months before the election, Trump said his vigorous campaigning "give the best to the blue they were talking about," leading to "a great victory . "
"And the story will really see what good work we did during the last few weeks," he said, "in terms of getting massive people over the finish line."
In 2018, he held 44 "Make America Great Again" rallies and 83 candidates approved. Of all, 91 Republican candidates had some kind of aim of Trump.
But Trump's true record of success fell very short of "a complete victory." In general, about 55 percent of the applicants that have supported have won so far in March voting.
Using tweets as a stand-in for approval, in the primary schools, Trump candidates were astonishing, with a record of 27-1. But in the general election, where the result was not determined by the Republican base voters, Trump's scorecard is mixed, with 50 benefits, 34 losses and seven races that have not yet been decided (as this writing). That represents candidates, went on to support those who were spoken on the house MAGA's enemies. There were also two special House elections in 2018, which won one of the candidates and one was lost.
During the closing week of campaigning, Trump turned away from the House, where many of the most competitive races run through suburbs, concentrating his attention on the Senate and chairmanships in states where it's quite popular.
On election night Bill Stepien, political director of White House, explained, "here is the names of Trump and his record of successes that go back to his historic victory in 2016 who gave these races in play. "
In general, of candidates approved by Trump-17 for a governor, nine who won, seven are lost and one has not yet decided.
The last week of rallies seems to have paid, with Republicans winning governor races in Florida and Ohio and Senedd seats in Missouri, Tennessee and Indiana. In Georgia, although the nationalist candidate, Brian Kemp, has declared a victory, the race has not yet been called and the Democrats Stacey Abrams have not agreed.
Trump was talking about gubernatorial wins in important 2020 states including Ohio and Florida, but failed to recognize losses to Republicans in Colorado, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

On Wednesday, the Democratic Senate Jon Tester made a victory in Montana. This was Trump's race with personal interest because Tester was involved in the nomination tanker of White House's doctor Ronny Jackson to become a secretary of VA. Trump was holding four enemies in the state this year, but he was not able to push the Republican Matt Rosendale over the finish line.

Trump argues that he has ruined history because Republicans have earned earnings in Parliament during the medium term. But this races happened this year to fight an overwhelming friendly country for Republicans, with a number of Democrats up to the state-renowned Trump in 2016.
Among the losses in the House there were several Republican candidates who failed to hold the president. In their areas, Trump was poisonous and felt they had to have their own distance to survive. But they lose anyway. At his news conference on Wednesday, Trump spent them.
"I'm not sure I should be happy or sad, but I'll really feel about it. Carlos Curbelo, Mike Coffman – is too bad, Mike," said Trump dismissing before tick through a number of other candidates who were pushed back on her radar or her policies. "Mia Love did not love me and she lost her. Too bad, sorry for that, Mia."
It is not at all clear that welcoming Trump would have changed their fortune given the voters' mind in those regions. Trumping from eight missing candidates called Trump on Wednesday for not holding close enough, Trump had approved three of them.
Overall, the Trump record at House races where riders approved or on Twitter was 32 awards, 18 losses and three still unresolved.
