The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is proof that a great LCD is better than a good AMOLED

While both screens are almost as bright, even in bright sunlight, the Mi 9T Pro looks much brighter than the Mi 10T Pro LCD screen. And to prove its claims, the site used the Lux Light Meter Free app on Samsung Ultra Galaxy 20 20 note and luxuriously entered the brightness values, turning the device’s surround sensor on the screen of both smartphones. In fact, to be more accurate, he took the measurements at a distance of 5 cm from the smartphones.

More specifically, in the first test, the application measures the brightness of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro at 561 lux. The Mi 9T Pro on the other hand has significantly higher brightness at 1142 lux. Of course, as the prices are secured with a smartphone surround sensor, they cannot be considered absolute prices. However, they can give us a satisfactory comparison. Based on the prices, the screen of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has nearly half the brightness compared to the AMOLED of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.
