Every year, the disease is found in about two thousand patients in the Czech Republic. 95 per cent of patients die from cancer, so they need to be found in time, they call for doctors to handle them. They want to engage with diabetologists and general practitioners, they said at a press conference. Cancer and pancreas are the fourth most common cause of death among tumors. As more progress is being made in the treatment of others, in 2020, according to experts, the second most common cause of lung cancer.
The cause of the disease has yet to explain it full. Research suggests that smoking can contribute to it, smoking, genetic factors, obesity, poor diet and other diseases such as pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis or diabetes.
In 50-60 per cent of patients, the diagnosis is advanced by the Oncology Clinic of the Faculty of First Medicine of the University of Charles and the General General Hospital in Prague (the Faculty of Medicine 1st and VFN) Luboš Petruželka.
