In 50-60 per cent of patients, the diagnosis is advanced by the Oncology Clinic of the Faculty of First Medicine of the University of Charles and the General General Hospital in Prague (the Faculty of Medicine 1st and VFN) Luboš Petruželka. The average survival time of these patients is less than one year. "There is a clinical crisis to find a methodology for early detection, and there is a need to improve the speed of diagnosis, start up treatment and develop new, more effective drugs," he added.
