The People's Ethics Treatment Organization (PETA, for its acronym in English) launched a campaign to eliminate expressions that reduce violence or animal suffering, such as "Killing two birds with one stone".
"Just as it became unacceptable to use racist, homophobic or discriminatory language, the expressions that are entertaining cruelty to animals they will disappear as more people start to appreciate animals for what they are, "he added on his Twitter account.
PETA intends to change the "specista" language with the following modifications:
Instead of "taking the bull from the" say "take the flowers according to the thorns."
Or it says "curiosity touch the cat" instead of "curiosity killing the cat".
Or why not change the phrase "killing two birds with one stone" for "feeding two birds with a ball".
