He died of lung cancer after transplant for cystic fibrosis

"The transplant lungs belonged to a 57 year old woman who had smoked a pack of cigarettes every day for 30 years," said the oncology doctors at Montpellier University Hospital.

In June 2017, the patient was admitted to the thoracic oncology unit from the hospital above. After two months, he died of lung cancer without trying to practice any therapy.
