Arquitectonica, an office in Miami, revealed new images of offering a 53 story tower in downtown Los Angeles. The building could be used for two different purposes: residential condominium or hotel. Los Angeles city and Town Planning report published an environmental impact report on the 240 meters high tower with joint swimming pools. The tower designed by Arquitectonica is one of the number of projects developed around Pershing Square.

JMF Development owns the Pershing Square and Land Building, which has located on Hill Street, and intends to build the tower around the historic structure. The project is based on a series of pools in balance and with a glass base. Starting like balconies, the extrudes become more and more obvious, until they take the dimension of the pools in balance.

From both the possibilities of a program, the first one would consist of two, three or four bedroom accommodation in a hotel with 190 rooms, guest support and parking programs for 126 vehicles. In the second choice, the building would consist of one, two, three or four bedroom apartments and other services, as well as a retail base on the ground floor, and parking for 187 vehicles.

The remodeling of the Pershing Square building starts in 2020. In the meantime, the tower does not have a specific date.
