Washington, Reinebold out as Lions make staff changes

VANCOUVER – Days after hiring DeVone Claybrooks as lead coach, the Lions BC changed the number of training staff on Thursday.

Defensive Co-ordinator Mark Washington, special team co-ordinator, Jeff Reinebold, offensive line coach Dan Dorazio, back-line coach Chris Tormey, defensive line coach Randy Melvin, supports defender of defensive Stanley Franks coach, and Mike Lionello will not offer contracts for the 2019 season .

"On behalf of the BC Lions Football Club, I can offer my thanks thank all of these men for their time and service dedicated to their team," said GM Ed Hervey. "We are grateful for their hard work and we wish them the best for them in the future.

The Lions also announced that the offensive co-ordinator Jarious Jackson will return in 2019 and recipient coach Markus Howell has also agreed to contract terms. Additional members of 2019 training staff will be announced in the coming days.
