TransLink's largest TransTrans transformation upgrade to the public – BC

The wrap was removed from upgrading the TransLink Transform Transformation station on Saturday, with a new platform at Broadway Commercial Station now open.

Work on the $ 81 million project has been underway since 2015 to help cater for growing craftspeople, which has expanded further since completing the Evergreen line extension.

The station was originally built in 1985 and saw its last major expansion in 2002 when the Millennium Line platform was opened.

TransLink says that the station now deals with 200,000 passengers daily and more than eight million residential buses every year.

The upgrade includes a new Expo Line platform that will allow passengers to block the downtown train of both sides, reducing congestion at peak times.

It also includes a high highway footpath over Broadway which will allow passengers to transfer easily between the Expo and Millennium lines, and the number of station elevators has doubled between two and four.
