The king's tide is going to hit Metro Vancouver every day this week

The "king's tide" is going to land the Metro Vancouver banks every day this week, which some people think: what exactly is "the king's tide?"

"The king's tide is not just a normal tide circle – but one on steroids," describes The Weather Network.

Although they are working on the regular routine of the tides (they are controlled by drawing the gravity of the moon and the sun), the level of the sea becomes much higher.

In fact, this phenomenon occurs a few times a year and creates an extremely high tide. In fact, the city's areas are actually flooding when the sea level rises during the event.

Metro Vancouver residents have posted sea level images increasing on Twitter, and some added that high tides have an impact on climate change.

  • November 27, 9:26 am
  • November 28, 10:18 am
  • November 29 11:10 am
  • November 30 11:59 am
