Police believe that a body discovered near a Mexican destination loses Quebec's wife

Mexican authorities have found a woman's body close to the destination where Quebecer was missing at vacation.

Christine St-Onge was not heard since then talking to a member of her fun on December 4.

The male friend she was traveling with returning home a day earlier than what was planned and who died of obvious suicide.

Sgt. Claude Denis of the Quebec provincial police says an autopsy will be performed to confirm that the body found is St-Onge, 41.

He says the police had contacted the St-Onge family to let them know about the latest developments. The body found near a hotel in Los Cabos showed marks of violence.

St-Onge, a travel agent from Montreal Laval suburb, traveled to Mexico on 29 November with a friend. They were supposed to return to Canada December 6.
