We have some great news for US owners who have unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Samsung appears to have opened the One UI beta. An UI is Samsung Samsung Experience 10 re-branding and is based on Android Pie. It includes a huge UI vision with an easy to use and dark theme across the system. The UI beta program is already available for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + in France, Germany, Korea, the United States, and other regions. Samsung has not yet published a beta program for Galaxy Note 9, so we were surprised when we received several tips about the beta available to some Note 9 owners in the United States.
XDA members Nochlab1 and CrazyApe18 at our associated SamCentral Connections server tell us that Samsung is now allowing US unlocked Galaxy Note 9 users to apply for the One UI beta. The latest Samsung + APK Nochlab1 generated and shared the below screen screens that show the signing screen for the One UI beta. If you have Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U1) unlock the United States or if you're ready to flash to that firmware, you may be able to join.
So far, we have seen that the Sprint and Verizon users running the U1 firmware can join the beta program. It is possible that other carriers will be supported soon, but at present, only the unlocked firmware appears to be able to join. We should note that, from the 3 users who informed us that signing is now available, none of them have received the update immediately. If you would prefer not to wait for the update, we have a guide on how to update the Neo-Sociological Association of Samsung Snapdragon 845 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to the latest UI beta release.
Samsung never had a beta ever for their Galaxy Note notes, so this is an interesting development. For those consumers who have spent hundreds (or even more than a thousand) dollars of US dollars on top of the best Samsung, now you can also taste Samsung's latest software experience. If you want to check to see if the registration is available on your device, download the latest Samsung + app and check the banner up and the top.

The official Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 +, and Galaxy Note 9 has been scheduled for January 2019. We will let you know when it's going to live, or if it's beta extends to larger owners Note 9 in other regions. For Note 9 owners in other regions, you will need the Samsung Samsung latest app rather than Samsung +.
