The police man believed that Burnaby's wife died earlier this month had been accused of murdering a second degree.
It was found that Nicole Hasselmann, 34, was seriously injured and lying next to a vehicle that had fallen into the 8000-block block from Barnet Highway on May 16th. She and the driver of the vehicle were taken to & The hospital where she died later injuries.
The driver survived his injuries.
Initially, researchers thought the injuries had been caused by the accident, but later he decided that he was dirty. It was called for officers with the Integrated Establishment Research Team to take over the investigation.
Today (Friday), the police announced that they had arrested Jan Poepl, 31. Poepl has been accused of a second degree murder in connection with Hasselmann's death, according to a press release from IHIT.
Hasselmann, who also went by Nicole Porciello, was a student support worker at Templeton High School in Vancouver.
The police have not said whether the person who was driving the vehicle on the 16th of November was accused.
