Installing one UI closed Android Pie beta on the Galaxy Snapdragon S8 +

[ad_1]

Immediately yesterday, we posted a tutorial on how to install a first UI beta building for Snapdragon Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In that article, we said there was no way of updating to one UI at both a & # 39; the other than the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 +. Thanks to the help of the Member XDA nochlab1, we discovered how to install the first One-to-One update to shut Android Pie beta on the Samsung Galaxy S8 + Snapdragon.

How to install One UI on the Samsung Galaxy S8 + Snapdragon +

The video that I have inserted below will walk you through the One UI installation process; I use the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 + in the video that has one official UI beta available to them, but the same general process will work out for the Galaxy S8 + as long as & # 39; you replace the correct files that are attached below.

  1. First, you need to download Odin 3.13.1, the update.zip for CRK1 to CRL1, the update.zip for CRL1 to DRL5, and Odin CRK1 files.
  2. If you have a SD Card in your Galaxy S8 +, copy the update.zip to the SD Card. If you do not have a SD Card, turn to this step.
  3. In the Odin files included in the zip named SM-G955U_1_20181108095727_feno0ruhgd_fac.zip, you will see six files. Odin has 5 categories but only 4 will be used.
  4. Put your Samsung Galaxy S8 + into Odin by turning it off and then Power + Volume Down + the Bixby button.
  5. Now open Odin and click on BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC then select the corresponding files of the ZIP that you have taken earlier. Do not put anything in userdata. This could erase all the data on your Galaxy S8 +.
  6. Click at the beginning.
  7. Odin will flash the new firmware on your Galaxy S8 +.
  8. Wait from 5 to 10 minutes to install the update. After doing this, leave off your phone and then restart the recovery by holding power + Bixby + up.
  9. Now update using CRK1 to CRL1 OTA.
  10. Using the volume and power buttons, select "apply the SD card update." If you do not have a SD Card, go to step 12.
  11. Use the volume buttons to select the update file.zip and the power button to select. Then the update will start. The update can take between 2 and 10 minutes. After you finish this step, turn to step 13.
  12. If you do not have a SD Card, use the volume buttons to select the option "apply the update". Order promptly on your computer and type:
sideload adb <file location of the update.zip>

and hit in. The update will start and take about 2 to 10 minutes.

  13. Now update using CRK1 to CRL1 OTA.
  14. Use the volume buttons and power to select "apply the SD card update." If you do not have a SD Card, go to step 12.
  15. Use the volume buttons again to select the update file.zip and the power button to select. Then the update will start. The update can take between 2 and 10 minutes. After you finish this step, turn to step 13.
  16. If you do not have a SD Card, use the volume buttons to select the option "apply the update". Then, open a command / Terminal on your computer and type:
sideload adb <file location of the update.zip>

and hit in. The update will start and take about 2 to 10 minutes.

  17. Restart your phone and enjoy the One UI beta.
