The American automotive company Tesla, Inc. (formerly former Tesla Motors) means making electric cars more viable and affordable. Elon Musk, co-founder, CEO and technology entrepreneur behind him – who is also responsible for the SpaceX program – is known about thinking outside the box.
According to IGN, Musk reported trying to get Nintendo to work with Tesla and release a car version of Mario Kart. This was discovered during a brief Twitter Exchange when Musk was asked about making special video games playable within the Tesla automatic line as cars can be resold. When a user asked about the Mario Kart series, Musk said that the manufacturer had contacted Nintendo, but the Japanese company would not be licensed to them. Albeit, however, that Musk is exposed to the idea of the Steam digital Valve service becomes the ultimate option.
Unfortunately, Musk did not reveal why Nintendo refused Tesla. We will guess and say Nintendo wants to remain faithful to the automotive maker of Germany Mercedes after a special DLC has been released Mario Kart 8 luxury several years ago.
Video game settings are not just a new car. Indeed, Musk previously published Atari's classic titles as Fire Order a Canmliped was played in Tesla cars and this became a reality in October. Thanks to Nintendo's past and present systems, no one was sitting there thinking about Mario Kart as in a car as it has already been possible for many years now. For the record, it's limited, and if the car offers it can be a pretty sudden experience for some people. Probably, we'll get an even better idea of when Mario Kart Tour arrives on mobile in 2019.
