The Tesla 3 3 Model, according to the Continental sales in February JATO Dynamics, is said to be the new star in the European automotive market. With 3,630 units distributed, the American electric vehicle defeated established players like Renault Zoe (2,888) and Nissan Leaf (2,364).
Tesla's success is even more impressive, as Model 3 is much more expensive than the French-Japanese alliance. What is most remarkable, however, is that according to JATO Dynamics, the American electric car is not just the biggest fuel car in Old Continent, but also the best selling part of the middle class premium segment, t in front of Audi A4, BMW 3er and Mercedes-Klasse.
"Tesla has rocked the European market," said analyst JATO Dynamics Felipe Munoz. "How strong will the impact be on how German luxury car manufacturers, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover respond and when they sell their medium-sized electric models."
