The net loss of British manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover for the year 2018 will reach the £ 3.6 billion (€ 4.1 billion), the company's financial statement shows. The catastrophic results are mainly due to the collapse of the Chinese market and the strong decline in diesel car sales.
Last year, JLR sales fell by 5.8% to 565,000 cars. In the United States and the United Kingdom, 8.1% and 8.4% more were bought by the British manufacturer, but that could not compensate for the 34% reduction in China.
Since the end of last year, there have been constant rumors that Tata is about to sell JLR, with potential buyers talking about PSA and FCA. However, Indian concern denies that there are plans of such.
