Sony’s CEO says PlayStation will have a solution for the Xbox Game Pass

Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, interviewed Russian agency TASS and asked him about the popularity of the Xbox Game Pass, and whether anything similar is planned for the PlayStation. To everyone’s surprise, the man reported that news on this subject was on the way.

“Actually, there’s news on the way, but not today.”

The Game Pass would not “make sense” on PlayStation. However, many of the company’s plans have changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including even the intergenerational transition.

One possibility might be the integration between PS Store and PS Now, which has already been speculated, as the creation of a new service seems unlikely.

To celebrate the arrival of PS5, a company has created a PS Plus collection, where subscribers can enjoy some of the best games of the current generation at no extra cost, including ‘God of War’, ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ and ‘Horizon Zero Dawn ‘.
