Reggie Fils-Aime retires and his successor has a well-known name Nintendo: Doug Bowser.
Jokes of a set-up, Fils-Aime will step down on April 15 that year, and Bowser, who is currently vice president of marketing and sales of Nintendo from America, will take over.
Bowser has worked with Reggie for the last four years, and ensures that he will continue his work. "You can rest easily, let's continue to build on the job [do Reggie] to evolve and expand our brand, continuing with the Nintendo global mission of creating a smile, "he said, as published by BusinessWire.
Reggie has been the president of the Nintendo department in the USA since 2006 – to get an idea, the biggest releases of the day were Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Bowser joined the company in 2015 and led marketing and sales efforts for Nintendo Switch, which became the company's fastest selling console.

In the video, thank the fans and recognize the mumps made with him. In addition, he includes Bowser (and also makes his name zoeiras), eliminating his speech saying his body is still ready.
